Publishing Services

Glossary:
Basic Editing - Charged word by word, this is correcting misspelled words, improper syntax use, wrong grammar on a manuscript already written.
Formatting - Charged as a project, includes only prep for publishing for a manuscript already written. This will also include legal info in the front matters.
Book Covers: This is for the front and back covers, back page blurbs, and front matters images.
Ghost Writing - Charged as a project, includes all editing and all formatting and all publishing.
Publishing - Charged as a project and includes what ever is agreed upon for a manuscript already written.

Contractual Agreement Process:
Upon looking your project over, we will make an offer to complete the processes you are in need of. Once you and Sapphire Arts have come to an agreement, there will be a 50% up front cost deposit made. Then, depending on the length of the project, the remaining balance will be required upon the completion of the project. If the project is more than 75,000 words, a 3/4s done percentage can be agreed upon. It will be another 25%.

Fees:
*These fees are determined by the Editorial Freelancers Association.

We have a minimum of a $20 fee for any project regardless of size.
Editing only: $0.04 per word
Formatting: By the project and for the entire only. Quote after we see the project and know the parameters.
Book Covers: Flat rate of $75. This includes up to 3 proposals. Additional proposals are $25 each.
Ghost Writing: Only by the project and for the entire project. Once the scope of the project is understood, we will give you a quote.
Publishing: For just the publishing by itself, it is $100 flat rate. This is KDP only. If you wish to add Ingram Spark, it will be $200 for both. Additional book formats (hardback, E-book, etc.) there are additional fees. These are discussed at the project meeting.
